Shuzenji Onsen
Yagyu no Yu

In 2009, on our 40th anniversary, we renovated our communal baths to offer large open-air baths where you can enjoy the changing seasons. Each room's bath features flowing natural hot springs. The source, established in 807 AD, is known as "beauty skin hot spring" for its soft waters.

Musashi no Yu

_ Enjoy the fleeting beauty of the seasons

Surrounded by bamboo groves, this large open-air bath lets you appreciate the tranquility of the mountainside and the seasonal transformations.

The other communal bath, 'Tsū no Yu,' changes between genders daily, allowing guests to experience both atmospheres.

Tsū no Yu

_ Enjoy nature's palette

This large open-air bath is cradled in a gently landscaped setting with seasonal flowers. Especially during early summer when Kirishima azaleas bloom, and throughout the year with vibrant crape myrtles, autumn leaves, and heavenly bamboo in winter.

Relax and soak at your leisure.

Guestroom Baths

_ A variety of baths

The baths in the rooms, ranging from open-air, semi-open-air to indoor baths, are crafted using traditional plastering methods, allowing guests to enjoy different styles. Out of all 15 rooms, 6 have open-air baths, 6 have semi-open-air baths, and 3 have cypress indoor baths.
