Exploring Shuzenji
Shuzenji, a little Edo of Izu with a 1200-year history, is named after the temple 'Shuzenji', along with other historic temples in this scenic area. Popular for its beautiful natural sceneries like cherry blossoms, fireflies, and autumn leaves.
Spring Photos
Experience the splendid cherry blossoms of Shuzenji in spring. From 'Yagyu-no-Sho' with its weeping cherry trees, to cherry blossom trees along Kanogawa River and in the temple's grounds, as well as the natural parks.
Summer Photos
Fresh and beautiful summer in Shuzenji. View of Mount Fuji from Daimonzan is strikingly beautiful. The Niji-no-Sato hosts 10 types of 3,500 hydrangeas and 300 types of 7,000 iris flowers. Kanogawa is a haven for sweetfish fishing. The wasabi fields at Ikadaba are also a must-see.
